Christmas in July

I believe it was my 19th birthday.  I was home from college and decided to have some people over for a BBQ.  I think the theme was Christmas in July.  We had inflatable Christmas decorations and people dressed up in Santa hats.  Looking back at it, most of the themed parties were poorly executed.  We were young and full of ideas, most of them not getting executed or executed haphazardly.  Towards the end of the night there was still the majority of a gallon of milk.  I decide that I am going to attempt the gallon challenge.  To this day I have no idea why I thought I should do this.  I know that the game plan I had going in would be to go as fast as I could.  There was motivational speeches and a crowd beating Frisbees to encourage me to keep drinking.  After a while it was painful to sip and my entire body felt bloated.  There was no way I was going to quit.  I continue to drink the milk until the very end when like clockwork my body decides that is also the time when it will let all of the milk inside of me back out.  I ran over to the parking lot and let loose.  The thing that I most clearly remember from the evening was afterwards.  John Kurian and Delia just moved into an apartment and invited us over to drink and party.  I remember sitting in the corner feeling gross as everything I smelled or tasted had a hint of sour milk to it.
